It became a big celebration to welcome the first hero of Khorezm from his young men who went to war. "Generation of Tomaris" about the reception of the war hero Sotimboy Nurmatov in Khorezm, who was lucky enough to participate in the Victory Parade held in Moscow on June 24, 1945, and about his family life, studies, and work in various responsible positions. (Tashkent, "Istiklol" publishing house, 2008, pp. 496-497) contains the following lines: "Who doesn't dream of heroic young men? The parents and relatives of the girl next door wanted a guy like Sotimboy to be the groom, and soon the wedding took place. they sent the youth to study. Sotimboy entered the Higher Firka School, and Khalid Khan entered the Faculty of Languages and Literature of the Central Asian State University. In other words, the student years were behind them. 1950 was a good year for the young family. It was a year of joys. In this year, the first child Dilorom was born. Sotim's brother was appointed to the position of the chairman of the Khazorasp district executive committee, and Khalidakhan was appointed to the school named after A.S. Pushkin. Years passed after years. Sotimboy Nurmatov was recommended for the position of the first secretary of Kitab district party committee of Kashkadarya region. The young, hard-working leader did many good things here. He made a significant contribution to the development of the economy, culture and art of the district. Working and living among strangers, in distant lands, is not the same. On top of that, if Kitab Togoldi is not a district of cattle breeders and cotton growers, the work of the sarcotib was beyond the beginning. Gox is there. gox had to deal with unexpected flooding problems here. Sometimes brother Sotimboy would go out to the steppes and mountains for 3-4 days to herdsmen, sometimes they would call him to meetings in Karshi, sometimes in Tashkent.
